Enid B. Ryce is an award-winning author, artist, and filmmaker. Her projects have been featured in The New York Times, NPR, and CBS Radio News, and exhibited internationally at museums and festivals. She’s a CSUMB Professor of Cinematic Arts and Environmental Studies, specializing in Scientific Storytelling.

Her book, Ancient Spells and Incantations holds verses adapted from grimoires, letters, and trial transcripts from across the ages & around the world. Enid B. Ryce painstakingly researched this collection, translating fragments from Latin and Old English to make the spells accessible to today's witches. What was once whispered or chanted, spiraling in cursive, or carved in stone, still echoes like a song.
