Ancestry just rolled out a major DNA update to their ethnicity estimates. This means more regions, greater precision, and deeper insights into your heritage. Using a DNA sample, Ancestry is able to compare it to a “global reference panel.” This reference panel reflects people with deep roots in a region it most closely resembles. Ancestry considers this update to be a big step towards helping you connect with your past. At our friendly Genealogy Work Group, you'll learn about this update from Ancestry, and have a chance to get ideas and support from other genealogy enthusiasts. We'll use Zoom to meet together and all experience levels are welcome.
