Join us for a World Postcard Day event on Wednesday September 30, 2026 at John Steinbeck Library from 4:00 to 5:30 PM!

Write a postcard to a friend or loved one or learn about the international hobby, Postcrossing. We'll have postcard-related activities for participants ages 6+. Drop by together as a family, bring a group of friends, or stop by and meet new people in your library community!

Do you have postcards at home you're not sure what to do with? Bring them to write on or share with others! The library will also provide postcards (including the official World Postcard Day card), stickers, washi tape, and even postage if you intend to send your card in the mail.

New to snail mail? No worries! We'll walk you through the process!
