Prepare your soon-to-be kindergartener to confidently step into the first day of school with the help of the Salinas Public Library's Kinder Boot Camp!

These camps are designed to help create a smoother transition to school life by introducing them to classroom routines while promoting social interaction, language, and self-regulation skills. The program is open to all incoming, first-year kindergarten students and incoming transitional kindergarten (TK) students, especially those with limited preschool exposure. As space is very limited, a child may only attend one session. 
 

Registration is required. Registration opens July 1, 2026.

El Gabilan Library
Monday - Thursday, July 20 - July 23
9:00am - 11:00am  

Additional information:

• Child must be entering Kinder or TK
• Child must be at least 4 years old by the start of the program
• Program is for child only, parents are not allowed to stay
