Sandra Barocio is the author of We Are All Others / Todas Somos Otras, a memoir about the challenges, joys, and sacrifices made by her family while trying to make a living in California. Based on her lifelong journals, We Are All Others / Todas Somos Otras tackles important questions about race, citizenship status, class, and belonging through the extremely personal lens of Barocio's childhood perspective.

Sandra Barocio is an author, storyteller, and philanthropist who has dedicated her life to uplifting others through story. She has worked in AIDS and migrant advocacy and believes in bringing attention to people pushed to the margins. Barocio lives in Moss Beach, California, surrounded by the sights and sounds of farmworkers.
